At McLou, we believe in being transparent about how our products, designs and content are created.

Artwork & Design

Some of the artwork and visual elements featured in McLou products may be created or developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

AI is one part of our creative process. Designs are selected, edited, arranged and prepared by us before being used in a finished product. Our process may also include illustration selection, layout and composition, personalisation, printing, cutting, assembly and quality checks, depending on the product.

We may also use licensed design assets, fonts, graphics and other creative resources alongside our own designs and AI-assisted elements.

Product Photography & Content

We aim to represent our products as accurately as possible.

Photographs and videos of finished McLou products may be edited using traditional or AI-assisted tools for purposes such as improving lighting, colour, composition, backgrounds or overall presentation.

Where digital mock-ups, illustrative images or other digitally created content are used instead of photographs of a finished physical product, we aim to make this clear where appropriate.

Our Commitment

AI is a creative tool within McLou rather than a replacement for the hands-on process behind our products.

Human judgement and creativity remain part of the process, from developing an idea and preparing a design to making, finishing and checking the final product.

As McLou grows, our creative methods may continue to evolve, including exploring new techniques, tools and collaborations.
