Every child deserves to feel magical on their special day.

Maclou was born from a simple observation. The parents I love most are also the busiest people I know.

Watching friends and family juggle full-time work, family life and the endless to-do list that comes with raising little ones, one thing was always clear. When a birthday came around, they still wanted to create something beautiful. Something that would make their child feel truly special. Something worth remembering.

But between the planning, the sourcing, the assembling and the inevitable last-minute panic, the joy of celebrating can get lost somewhere along the way.

We wanted to change that.

Hi, we're Maclou, a small independent maker based in the United Kingdom.

We don't have a big team or a fancy warehouse. Just a passion for beautiful design, a love of celebrations and a genuine desire to make life a little easier for the parents who deserve a break.

We also carry our own memories of childhood celebrations. Nothing elaborate, sometimes just a cake and a few decorations, but the feeling those moments created has stayed with us forever. That feeling of being seen. Of being celebrated. Of knowing that someone made an effort, just for you.

That is what Maclou is about.
